I picked up a camera during COVID after a long break — I'd shot for the paper in high school and studied photography in college, then life got in the way.
Coming back to it, I found myself drawn to places most folks pass without even tapping the brakes.
Five years in, I'm still excited to pull over and capture that abandoned barn, lonely vehicle, or empty gas station.
